A Mozambican man, Armando Joaquin Pacula, appeared in court on Feb. 2, 2026, charged in the Dec. 16, 2025, premeditated murder of DJ Warras in Johannesburg.
A 25-year-old Mozambican national, Armando Joaquin Pacula, appeared in Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on February 2, 2026, facing charges of premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and violating the Immigration Act in connection with the December 16, 2025, killing of DJ Warrick Stock, known as DJ Warras.
Arrested in the Marathon informal settlement, Pacula remains in custody as the court postponed the case to February 9 to verify his immigration status and address.
He is the second suspect in the case, following Victor Majola, whose bail was denied and whose case was delayed to next month.
Stock, 40, was shot in Johannesburg’s CBD while involved with a security company handling evictions in occupied buildings.
