Indian Railways has launched special reserved trains between Katra and Srinagar on February 3 and 4 to ease travel disruptions caused by severe weather, with services operating daily and stopping at Banihal.
Trains are scheduled to run on both days with departures from Katra at 8:10 am and 10:00 am, arriving in Srinagar by 11:10 am and 1:30 pm, respectively, and return trips departing Srinagar at 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
The initiative, previously well-received in January, aims to support travelers during peak winter visitation and adverse conditions, with officials urging passengers to check official sources for updates and reservations.
