Google Home app update fixes video errors, adds smart button controls and new automation triggers.
Google has released a new update for the Google Home app, fixing a persistent "Video not available" error when viewing camera footage and improving reliability for recent events.
The update adds support for hardware smart buttons to trigger automations via presses, double-taps, or long presses, and introduces new automation triggers like humidity, battery levels, robot vacuum docking, leaks, and open windows.
Users can now set specific colors and temperatures for smart lights through routines.
These features are available in the app’s automation editor, with the update rolling out via the Google Play Store starting February 2, 2026.
La actualización de la aplicación de Google Home corrige errores de video, agrega controles de botones inteligentes y nuevos disparadores de automatización.
