Four individuals and Colored Keys won Nagaland’s 2025 Governor’s Award for arts, music, and literature.
On February 2, 2026, four individuals and the music group Colored Keys were honored with Nagaland’s 2025 Governor’s Award for excellence in arts, music, and literature.
Recipients included sculptor Mannyei Konyak, folk preservationist Guru Rarenbenba, rapper Moko Koza, poet and publisher Vishii Rita Krocha, and the band Colored Keys, each receiving a Rs 5 lakh cash prize and a citation.
The award ceremony, held in Kohima and presided over by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, recognized their contributions to preserving and innovating Naga cultural expression.
