Due to a legal dispute between choreographer Michael Flatley and Switzer Consulting Ltd., which asserts ownership of the production, the Lord of the Dance 30th anniversary performance in Dublin has been canceled. A Belfast court removed an earlier injunction that had barred Flatley from taking part, but Switzer claimed it was unable to obtain the guarantees required to move forward safely. Switzer accuses Flatley of violating a 2024 agreement, while Flatley's team asserts he is the majority shareholder. The case, which involves control over a £175 million touring show and financial mismanagement, is scheduled for trial in April. Ticket holders' refunds are being processed.
