LK Bennett, a UK fashion brand founded in 1990, will close all its physical stores in the UK and Ireland by spring 2026, ending operations at nine standalone locations and 13 concessions.
The closures, following the brand’s acquisition by Gordon Brothers on January 28, 2026, will impact around 89 employees, with stores expected to remain open for up to three months.
While the company’s intellectual property was secured, its physical retail presence and staff were not included in the deal.
The brand, known for its premium footwear and celebrity following, has struggled financially despite past restructuring attempts, including a failed 2019 acquisition by Chinese investors.
Its online business will continue, but its high street presence is set to disappear.
