Eagle Plains drills at George Lake to test high-grade zinc, lead, silver potential in Saskatchewan.
Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. has launched a 1,650-meter, three-hole diamond drilling program at its George Lake Project in northern Saskatchewan, the first such effort in nearly two decades.
The drilling aims to test sedimentary exhalative (SEDEX) mineralization near historical intersections with high grades of zinc, lead, and silver, using geophysical data and modeling from a 2022 airborne survey.
The project, fully permitted and accessible via improved highway access, spans 6,868 hectares and remains open along strike and at depth.
The exploration is supported by First Nations communities and may qualify for up to $150,000 in provincial funding.
