The trail, accessible by public transport, includes cobbled roads, gravel paths, and woodland, with a 220-meter elevation gain, leading to the 39-meter Peel Tower, a 1852 monument to Sir Robert Peel.
Visitors can climb the tower for views of the Pennine moors, Cheshire Plain, and, on clear days, North Wales.
The route passes historic sites and returns via Holcombe Brook.
