India held its 59th Fit India Sunday on Cycle, with 25 lakh people participating across 10,000 locations nationwide.
On February 1, 2026, India marked the 59th Fit India Sundays on Cycle with nationwide events from Delhi to Guwahati and across nearly 10,000 locations, promoting fitness, sustainability, and community engagement.
Organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s “Fitness Ka Dose, Aadha Ghanta Roz” campaign, the event drew over 25 lakh participants at more than 2.5 lakh sites.
Activities included cycling, yoga, Zumba, and road safety awareness, with involvement from students, athletes, Fit India Ambassadors, and skill training institutes.
Similar events occurred in cities like Guwahati, Goa, and Rajnandgaon, supported by thousands of local cycling clubs and national sports centers.
