UND unveils new campus plan on Feb. 5, 2026, focusing on modernization, sustainability, and equity.
The University of North Dakota is developing a new campus master plan, hosting a public forum on February 5, 2026, to gather input from students, staff, faculty, and the Grand Forks community.
Building on the 2016 plan—updated in 2022—the university has completed major projects including the Memorial Union, new residence halls, the Nistler College of Business, and renovations, funded by state support, donations, and a student fee.
The new plan, guided by Perkins and Will and shaped by surveys and working groups, focuses on modernization, sustainability, equity, and public-private partnerships, with a goal of aligning campus growth with UND’s strategic LEADS framework.
