The order, granted in January 2026, bars the defendants from releasing any allegedly defamatory content related to Khan or his family until they respond to the legal notice.
Khan, seeking a permanent injunction and ₹9 crore in damages, alleges that a series of interviews and podcast episodes between September and December 2025 contained false and harmful remarks about his professional and personal life.
The court emphasized that freedom of speech does not protect abusive or threatening language that damages reputation or privacy.
