Community Living Kincardine and District is hosting its 11th annual Lots of Socks event on March 21 to mark World Down Syndrome Day, using colorful sock displays to symbolize the extra chromosome linked to Down Syndrome.
Local groups are invited to decorate windows, with registration open until February 13.
Selected participants will feature portraits of local individuals with Down Syndrome, taken by photographer Jamie Edwards.
Entries must be submitted between March 15 and 18 for an online vote ending March 20, with the winner announced March 22.
The event promotes inclusivity and community connection, encouraging participants to wear bold socks and share photos using #WorldDownSyndromeDay and #LotsofSocks.
