CGI has appointed Gopal Chhetri, currently Senior Vice-President for Asia Pacific Global Delivery Centers of Excellence, to lead its Global Capability Centers (GCCs) business effective January 31, 2026.
Based in Bangalore, India, Chhetri will drive CGI’s AI-first strategy for GCCs, focusing on expanding digital engineering, cloud, and artificial intelligence capabilities while strengthening talent development and delivery frameworks.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Chhetri will help clients scale and modernize their GCCs through CGI’s global delivery model.
