Vaishnavi Adkar, a 21-year-old tennis player from Pune and Maharashtra’s top women’s singles player, has received a wild card entry into the main draw of the 2026 L&T Mumbai Open WTA 125K Series, set for February 2–8 in Mumbai.
The tournament, following qualifiers on January 31 and February 1, offers Adkar a key opportunity to compete against higher-ranked players on home soil.
She previously won her first ITF Pro Singles title in 2024 and became the first Indian woman to earn a bronze medal at the World University Tennis Championship.
