Two Thai pilots died in a training crash of a U.S.-made AT-6TH aircraft; investigation underway.
Two Royal Thai Air Force pilots died Thursday when their AT-6TH Wolverine light attack aircraft crashed during a combat search and rescue training mission in Chom Thong district, about 60 kilometers southwest of Chiang Mai International Airport, around 10:20 a.m. local time.
The aircraft, assigned to Wing 41, went down in a forested area with no civilian injuries or property damage reported.
