Her family, who missed much of her youth due to her early hockey training in New York and Wisconsin, will attend the Games after a GoFundMe campaign raised over $59,000—surpassing its $50,000 goal—with major support from NFL brothers Travis and Jason Kelce, who each donated $10,000.
Edwards, a University of Wisconsin player and self-proclaimed "Queen of Cleveland," credits her family’s sacrifices and community backing for her journey.
She plans to use any leftover funds to support youth hockey in Cleveland.
