Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton rode the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster for the final time at Disney's Hollywood Studios on January 29, 2026, before it closed on March 1, ending the attraction's 27-year run with the band.
Hamilton, who was performing with his new band Close Enemies, thanked Disney cast members and fans in photos and videos posted to Instagram.
The ride, which debuted in 1999 as part of Disney-MGM Studios, will be rebranded to feature The Muppets following Disney's announcement in 2024 to replace it as part of a larger land overhaul.
The Aerosmith video intro was removed in December 2025 to allow for construction.
