Authorities, investigating under Strike Force Mullagh, allege he funneled funds into personal accounts he controlled between 2012 and 2024.
Arrested on January 28, 2026, he faces 41 counts of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception and one count of misconduct in public office.
Denied bail, he is set to appear in Parramatta Local Court on January 29.
