Exports to the U.S. jumped 14.2%, with the RAV4 leading sales. Toyota achieved a 0.2% sales rise in China, its first growth in four years. Hybrids accounted for 42% of sales, while battery-electric vehicles made up 1.9%. Volkswagen Group saw a 0.5% sales decline to nearly 9 million units, citing market challenges in China and Europe.
