World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand is competing in the 2026 LPGA season opener, the Tournament of Champions in Orlando, Florida, after recovering from a wrist injury that limited her off-season practice. Though her game feels rusty, particularly with irons, she says her wrist is fully healed and only tight in cold weather. This marks her first time playing the season-opening event, which features defending champion Kim A-lim of South Korea, 2024 winner Lydia Ko of New Zealand, and world No. 2 Nelly Korda, who is seeking her first 2026 win after a winless 2025. Thitikul is also supporting the pro-am event with celebrity amateurs.
