Texas Democratic Rep. Julie Johnson, who serves on the House Homeland Security Committee and has criticized ICE’s conduct, traded Palantir Technologies stock in 2025 despite the company’s role in immigration enforcement.
Financial disclosures show she bought shares in January and February and sold them by June, earning $1,001 to $15,000 per transaction.
Johnson said third parties managed the trades and that she voluntarily divested all holdings by June, citing her commitment to public trust.
Palantir’s government contracts nearly doubled in 2025, reaching $970 million, as ICE’s deportation efforts expanded under the Trump administration.
Johnson is one of only six House Democrats since 2021 to trade Palantir stock, and the only Texas Democrat to do so.
She is running in a Democratic primary against former Rep. Colin Allred.
