Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss seeks extra college year in Feb. 12 court hearing over NCAA eligibility dispute.
A court date has been set for Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss on February 12 in Pittsboro, Mississippi, where Judge Robert Withwell will hear his case seeking an extra year of college football eligibility.
Chambliss, who transferred from Division II’s Ferris State, argues the NCAA’s denial of his request—based on a six-year eligibility limit—was arbitrary and unfair due to medical issues that prevented him from playing during his time at Ferris State.
His legal team submitted supporting documents, including a letter from his former coach, a medical note, and a statement from the university.
The outcome could determine whether he can continue playing for Ole Miss.
