A new 80,000-square-foot aircraft hangar has opened at Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City, capable of housing three Boeing 737s at once, including the 737 MAX.
Built through a public-private partnership between AAR and the State of Oklahoma, the facility supports Alaska Airlines and is expected to create hundreds of high-paying aviation jobs.
The project, completed after 18 months of construction, strengthens Oklahoma City’s role in commercial aircraft maintenance and follows AAR’s broader expansion, including a paperless operations initiative and integration of recent acquisitions.
Officials say the hangar’s success may lead to additional hangar developments.
