A 37-year-old man was shot in the arm during a police pursuit in Geelong, Australia, after a stolen Kia Optima allegedly drove at officers near a school. The vehicle crashed into a bus and another car before the occupants fled on foot and were arrested. Both the man and a woman were hospitalized with minor injuries. Police confirmed the car was stolen in New South Wales, and the Armed Crime Squad is leading the investigation under oversight from Professional Standards Command. No ongoing threat to the public remains.
