A former Goldman Sachs banker is sued by her Knightsbridge neighbors for over £100,000 after ceiling collapses blamed on leaks and renovations from her flat.
A former Goldman Sachs banker, Leda Sara, is being sued by her wealthy Knightsbridge neighbours for over £100,000 after a ceiling collapse in their £1.4 million home, which they attribute to repeated leaks from Sara’s flat, including from a shower and faulty sprinklers, along with heat loss and renovation dust.
The couple says the issues forced them to relocate three times and caused their 2022 property sale to fail, costing over £60,000 in additional taxes.
The incident occurred in a Grade-II listed building in 2019, with further leaks reported in 2021 and 2022.
Sara denies liability, blaming contractors and disputing the damages.
The case is ongoing at Mayors and City County Court.
