Bill Cosby has admitted under oath to obtaining seven Quaalude prescriptions from doctor Leroy Amar, allegedly to drug women, according to newly released legal documents tied to a 1972 lawsuit by Donna Motsinger.
Motsinger claims Cosby gave her a pill he said was aspirin, causing her to lose consciousness and wake up in her underwear.
Cosby, who denies wrongdoing, never used the drugs himself, according to the deposition.
The pills were round and white.
Dr. Amar, whose license was revoked in 1979, prescribed them during a poker game at Cosby’s Los Angeles home.
The case remains active as Cosby seeks to dismiss it.
Over 60 women have accused Cosby of misconduct.
