It tests Delaware's shield law by requesting injunctions to halt abortion-related activities and unlicensed medical practice. The case is part of Texas's larger effort to limit access to abortion pills, which is backed by a 2025 law permitting private lawsuits with $100,000 in damages. It comes after similar actions against out-of-state providers.
