Rapper Nathan Tokosi, known as DigDat, has been sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 24 years for a 2023 drive-by shooting in London that fatally injured rival artist Daniel Offei-Ntow.
Convicted after two trials of attempted murder and firearms offenses, Tokosi was linked to the attack through DNA, blood trails, surveillance footage, and a stolen Audi found abandoned with a firearm and ammunition.
Prosecutors said the attack was premeditated and malicious.
Tokosi, 26, had a history of violent crimes dating to age 11, including a prior attempted murder conviction.
His defense cited ADHD and the pressures of rapid fame.
The victim died weeks after the shooting, which was ruled unrelated to his death.
