Former England all-rounder Moeen Ali has reversed his domestic retirement, signing a T20 Blast-only contract with Yorkshire for 2026 with an option to extend into 2027.
The move marks his return to English county cricket after leading Birmingham Phoenix to the Hundred final and winning two World Cups with England.
Yorkshire, aiming for its first Blast title after finishing eighth last season, has also added Australian players Sam Whiteman and Andrew Tye, along with overseas signings Naveen-ul-Haq and Logan van Beek.
The club’s general manager Gavin Hamilton praised Ali’s leadership and experience as key to elevating team standards and culture.
