India and the EU signed a mobility deal for uncapped student exchanges, streamlined visas, and mutual recognition of qualifications.

In order to increase student, researcher, and professional exchanges, India and the EU signed a mobility agreement in which the EU promised unlimited student mobility and expedited visas. The agreement promotes increased participation in initiatives like Horizon Europe and Erasmus Mundus, digital visa processing, and mutual recognition of qualifications. By promoting the flow of Indian talent and encouraging EU companies to establish R&D and innovation centers in India, it seeks to alleviate Europe's talent shortages in the tech, healthcare, and green sectors.
