Former Chicago cop Alain Dillon charged with bribery and misconduct for selling access to encrypted police radio.
Alain M. Dillon, a former Chicago police officer, faces three felony bribery charges and 15 counts of official misconduct for allegedly accepting $500 payments in 2023 to allow others access to his encrypted police radio.
The charges stem from unauthorized use of department-issued equipment, and Dillon, who had his police powers revoked in 2024, has pleaded not guilty.
He is scheduled to appear in court on March 9.
The Illinois attorney general’s office confirmed the charges, but the Chicago Police Department has not issued a public statement.
