Dubai launches AED100B DIFC Zabeel expansion to double financial hub capacity and boost economy.

Dubai has launched the DIFC Zabeel District, a AED100 billion expansion of the Dubai International Financial Centre, the largest demand-led financial hub development in the region. Spanning 7.1 million sq. ft. with 17.7 million sq. ft. of gross floor area, it aims to double DIFC’s capacity, supporting over 42,000 companies and 125,000 employees. The project includes dedicated spaces for artificial intelligence, future technologies, education, and residential living, aligning with Dubai’s D33 economic strategy to double the emirate’s economy by 2033. Launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the development underscores Dubai’s ambition to become a top global financial center.
