Colorado Mountain College raises tuition for 2026-27 due to inflation, with increases ranging from $3 to $15 per credit hour.
Colorado Mountain College has approved a tuition increase for the 2026-27 academic year, effective August 2026, due to a projected 2.8% inflation rate.
In-district students will pay $3 more per credit hour, in-state students $6 more, and non-residents $15 more.
Increases also apply to room and board, learning materials, and some course-specific fees, though not all fees will rise.
The college says it will remain among the most affordable in the state and nation.
Trustees also approved one-time $50,000 grants to each of the nine school districts in its service area, funded by the Mountain Promise reserve, to support concurrent enrollment programs, which serve about 43% of its students.
The changes were unanimously approved in January.
