Before going missing in June 2020, Noah Donohoe, a 14-year-old from Belfast, was described by his friend Jay Tierney as hopeful, emotionally open, and intellectually curious. Noah was reflecting on mental health issues, admitting to emotional repression in the past, and dedicating himself to self-honesty, according to messages and testimony. He was last spotted riding his bike while carrying a bag that held his laptop and the book "12 Rules for Life," intending to go for a walk on Cave Hill with some friends. A few weeks ago, his mother expressed worries about his mood. Drowning was confirmed as Noah's cause of death when he was discovered dead in a storm drain. The inquest into his death is still ongoing.
