Scotland expands Glasgow-Edinburgh bus service with 650 more seats and more frequent runs.
Scottish Citylink has expanded its 900 bus service between Glasgow and Edinburgh, adding nearly 650 extra seats each way daily and increasing frequency to up to every 12 minutes during peak times.
The improvement, backed by a £7 million investment in 18 new Volvo 9700 coaches featuring reclining seats, USB charging, footrests, and safety enhancements, serves major stops including Edinburgh Airport and Livingston.
The 24-hour route, operating for 30 years, is managed by Stagecoach West Scotland and Parks of Hamilton, with return tickets starting at £10.
