Cavan Station is selling Springfield property and two sheep studs in NSW, with bids due March 12.
Rupert Murdoch’s family-owned Cavan Station is selling the 948-hectare Springfield property in New South Wales’ South West Slopes, along with two top-tier sheep breeding enterprises: Bogo Merino Stud and Glenfinnan Prime Lamb Genetics. The property, near Cootamundra, includes 845 hectares of arable land, modern infrastructure, and reliable water sources. The studs, producing over 350 rams annually for 226 commercial producers, are being offered separately but are part of a strategic consolidation back to Cavan Station near Wee Jasper, not due to performance issues. Strong market demand for sheep genetics, wool, and lamb supports buyer interest. Expressions of interest close March 12.
