Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency warned of a disinformation campaign targeting its strategic alliance with Türkiye, tracing the effort to the Russian-language site Tsargrad.tv. The agency said false and manipulative content, spread via foreign online outlets and social media, aims to distort reality and weaken ties between the two nations. It condemned the campaign as an attempt to mislead public opinion and urged media in both countries to avoid unverified information. The agency emphasized ongoing cooperation with Turkey’s Presidential Communications Directorate to counter disinformation and protect the integrity of their partnership.
