Project Niagara collects game-day snacks for St. Catharines shelters from Jan. 26 to Feb. 6.
Toolbox Project Niagara, led by James Symons, is hosting a Super Bowl snack drive from January 26 to February 6, collecting chips, wings, chili, and other game-day foods for shelter residents in St. Catharines.
The 2024-initiated effort aims to foster joy and connection during a major cultural event, countering the isolation often faced by people experiencing homelessness.
Donations will support shelters including Southridge, Salvation Army, and The RAFT.
Drop-offs are accepted at Boldt Realty, 211 Scott St., weekdays and Saturdays.
Last year’s drive filled a boardroom with contributions, including 55 litres of chili from an anonymous Thorold restaurant.
