MSF agrees to share limited staff names with Israel to keep medical operations running amid security demands and aid restrictions.
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has agreed to provide Israel with a limited list of its staff in Gaza and the West Bank to avoid suspending medical operations starting March 1, 2026, after Israel revoked its operating licenses.
The move follows Israel’s demand for full staff disclosure, citing security concerns and alleged ties to militant groups, which MSF calls coercive and dangerous.
The organization, which has lost 15 staff members since October 2023 and faces blocked access to Gaza, says it only shared names with individual consent and prioritized patient care.
Israel’s broader restrictions on 37 aid groups have disrupted life-saving services, raising alarms over the humanitarian crisis.
