Gujarat to give 152 cities free land for public projects, cutting costs and speeding development.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced on January 26, 2026, that 152 municipalities will receive government land free of cost for public welfare projects, eliminating the need to pay 25 to 50 percent of market or jantri value.
