Five climate-tech startups have won ₹25 lakh each to pilot innovative solutions in Bengaluru under the Namma Bengaluru Challenge '26, a government-backed initiative addressing urban climate challenges.
Selected from nearly 600 applicants, the startups will test technologies in construction, water, and waste management over six months.
Their projects include low-carbon building materials, eco-friendly cement, decentralized sewage treatment, plant-based packaging coatings, and biodegradable straws.
