The Doha Legal Forum 2026 convened global leaders to discuss legal reform, digital justice, and investment growth, highlighting Qatar’s progress toward Vision 2030.
The inaugural Doha Legal Forum 2026, hosted by Qatar’s Ministry of Justice and the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre, opened under the theme "Emerging Trends and Forward-Looking Insights," with Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani presiding.
The two-day event brought together around 40 legal leaders, policymakers, and scholars from 13 countries to discuss legal reform, sustainable investment, digital economy legislation, international arbitration, and justice system modernization.
Qatar’s Justice Minister Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi emphasized that strong, transparent legal frameworks—such as updated investment laws, digital judicial services, and efficient dispute resolution—are essential for investor confidence and economic growth.
The forum highlighted Qatar’s National Initiative for Justice Development since 2016 and its alignment with National Vision 2030, aiming to strengthen legal infrastructure as a foundation for long-term development.
