Apex Critical Metals began drilling at its Nebraska rare earth project to verify mineralization and support a 2026 resource estimate.
Apex Critical Metals Corp. has begun drilling at its Rift Rare Earth Project in southeastern Nebraska, marking the start of its first drill program at the 100%-owned Elk Creek Carbonatite Complex site. The initial rig is being assembled as site prep advances, with drilling targeting 850 meters of strike to verify and expand rare earth element mineralization using a 3D geological model. A second rig is expected soon. The company aims to advance toward a maiden mineral resource estimate later in 2026. Apex also granted 750,000 restricted share units to a director, with vesting over two years. The project is part of the company’s broader effort to develop critical mineral resources in North America to support clean energy and domestic supply chains.
