Niagara Regional Police are investigating a child trafficking case involving a 30-year-old Niagara Falls man charged with trafficking a person under 18, assault, receiving benefits from trafficking, and possessing over $5,000 in proceeds.
The probe, launched in January 2026, stems from allegations of physical abuse and child labor involving a victim under 16.
Authorities are asking anyone who bought items via Facebook Marketplace at a residence near Lundy’s Lane and Highland Avenue between June 2023 and January 2026, or who was at the residence during that time, to contact police.
The victim’s identity is protected, and anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers or the national Trafficking Hotline.
