The Chicago White Sox have agreed to a two-year, $20 million deal with right-handed reliever Seranthony Dominguez, who is expected to serve as the team’s closer.
The 31-year-old posted a 4-4 record with two saves and a 3.16 ERA in 67 relief appearances for the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays in 2025.
Dominguez has a career 23-23 record with 40 saves and a 3.50 ERA in 322 appearances across the Phillies, Orioles, and Blue Jays.
The signing is part of the White Sox’s offseason roster upgrades, which include adding Japanese slugger Munetaka Murakami and acquiring pitchers Anthony Kay and Sean Newcomb, along with infielder Luisangel Acuna in a trade for Luis Robert Jr.
