Spokane man arrested for throwing puppy from moving truck during domestic dispute.
Spokane police arrested Daniel Kolle, 44, on a second-degree animal cruelty charge after he allegedly threw an 11-week-old puppy from a moving truck during a domestic dispute on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of N. Wall Street and Wabash Avenue.
Neighbors reported a disturbance, and a bystander found the unharmed puppy, which was later returned to its owner, Melissa Pagel, 46.
Pagel was charged with fourth-degree assault-domestic violence.
Both were taken into custody, and the case remains under investigation.
Police described the event as unusual and part of a domestic violence situation.
