The funding aims to strengthen organizational capacity, stability, and impact, particularly in rural and underserved areas, by covering core and administrative costs.
Eligible applicants must be Nova Scotia-based not-for-profits or charities focused on 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, include 2SLGBTQIA+ leadership, and demonstrate equity-centered, collaborative approaches.
Applications are reviewed by the Office of Equity and Anti-Racism with cross-government input.
The initiative reflects the province’s commitment to advancing inclusion through tangible action.
