Swiss skier Marco Odermatt won the final World Cup super-G before the 2026 Winter Olympics in Kitzbühel, edging teammate Franjo von Allmen by 0.03 seconds.
The victory marked Odermatt’s 17th super-G win, tying Aksel Lund Svindal’s record, and his 53rd career World Cup win, placing him third all-time.
He now leads the super-G standings with three races remaining.
Austria’s Stefan Babinsky and Raphael Haaser finished third and fourth, while former world champion Vincent Kriechmayr placed seventh.
Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde skipped the race due to back pain, and several skiers, including Arnaud Boisset and Adrian Smiseth Sejersted, had incidents.
The men’s downhill race is set for Saturday.
