A shooting in Lawrenceville, Georgia, early Friday morning killed four adults, including an Indian national, in a family dispute. Police responded to a 911 call at 2:30 a.m. at a home on Brook Ivy Court, finding the victims—Meemu Dogra, 43, Gourav Kumar, 33, Nidhi Chander, 37, and Harish Chander, 38—dead from gunshot wounds. Three children survived by hiding in a closet, one calling emergency services. The suspect, Vijay Kumar, 51, of Atlanta, was arrested after being tracked by a police dog to a nearby woodline and faces multiple charges, including murder and cruelty to children. The Consulate General of India in Atlanta expressed sorrow and is providing support to the family. The investigation is ongoing.
