After a high-speed chase across west Clare, the suspects were arrested near Ennis, with one car seen on fire and €6,500 in cash recovered from the road.
A Supervalu bag and metal bars were also found at the scene.
All four were denied bail and remain in custody, scheduled to appear via video link on January 28, with cases expected to move to circuit court.
